Resolve no USPS signature files download when performing End of Day in SendSuite Xpress or Ascent

Issue

After upgrading to version 3.05/10.05, when performing End of Day in SendSuite® Xpress or Ascent™ for USPS carriers POM or POS, no USPS signature files are downloaded. Signature files are posted on Mondays and should be available at End of Day. No errors are displayed when performing End of Day, but in the log file for carrier, the following error exists:

Authentication Error Accessing Reqource, please verify system configuration and try again.
Note: To access the log files:
  1. Navigate to:
    • Xpress: C:\Xpress\ (default location)
    • Ascent: C:\Ascent\ (default location)
  2. Navigate to the carrier folder:
    • POS - \ARC_POS\
    • POM - \ARC_POM\
  3. Open the Actlog.log file.

Cause

Entry to connect to the Pitney Bowes Secure Archive server was not installed properly.

Resolution

This issue must be resolved by a Pitney Bowes representative. Contact software support for assistance.
