"CSD Senior Device has stopped" message on the SendPro C, SendPro+

Products affected: SendPro® C, SendPro®+ (2H00, 8H00)


The meter displays the message "CSD Senior Device has stopped" and will not run mail.


The internal meter software has encountered an error.


UPDATED: May 12, 2020
  1. Reboot the meter:
    1. Unplug the power cable.
    2. Wait for the display to turn off.
    3. Wait one minute.
    4. Plug the power cable back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
  2. Tap Settings (gear) icon in the global toolbar.
  3. Scroll down to the Envelope Printer Settings section. 
  4. Tap Mail Printer Maintenance.
  5. Tap Print Test Pattern.
  6. Run a test print.
    • If the test print is good, tap on the Home icon.
    • If the test print is not good, contact technical support; have your model and serial number ready.
