Unable to login to web server in EnagageOne Content Author

Issue

When attempting to log onto the Content Author web service the user receives this message:

Cause

The most likely cause of this is that the user attempting to log onto the web service does not have the "author" role assigned.

Resolution

UPDATED: September 13, 2019
Follow these steps:
  1. Login to Content Author Admin
  2. Select "Users" in the upper right of the screen
  3. Select the user that is attempting to log onto the web service
  4. Add the "Author" role and click the OK button
  5. Relaunch the web service, log in  as the desired user and the problem should no longer be present
