"Dispense Postage failed: 1150001" message when shipping a package with carrier PON in SendSuite Xpress

Products affected: SendSuite® Xpress 2.80 and later

Issue

When shipping a package with carrier PON in SendSuite® Xpress, one of the following errors is displayed:

Dispense Postage failed: 1150001
Invalid field value related to Payment.
  errorCode:invalid.payment.method,errorMessage:Invalid or unknown payment method!,invalidFields:null..

Dispense Postage failed: 1150001
Invalid field value related to Payment.
  errorCode:invalid.request,errorMessage:Invalid rate specified!,invalidFields:null..

Cause

  • No funding account (Purchase Power, USPS Prepay, etc.) is present from which to draw funds.
  • The API server is not set to the correct rating flag.
  • There are issues with funding the account.

Resolution
