Resolve User accounts have changed after the initial installation of Portrait Explorer, what changes need to be made?

Product Feature: Administration
Operating System: Windows

During the Portrait Explorer install, you are prompted to enter Windows user accounts (user name and password) for running the Portrait Shared Services (PSS) application pool and the connection to the Portrait Shared Repository (PSR) database from PSS/Portrait Analytics Web Services (PAWS). It is recommended that you use the same Windows account to manage all three components. The account should:

   • be on a network domain rather than a local machine

   • have db_datareader and db_datawriter role permissions on the 'PortraitPSR' database

To manually change the user account details after a successful Portrait Explorer installation, check and update the values as required:

   - In IIS, check the Identity in use for the Portrait Shared Server application pool.
   - In IIS, Under the PortraitSharedServices site - Authentication,
make sure 'anonymous authentication' is set to use the correct user name and password.
   - In the C:\Program Files (x86)\PST\PAWS\ext\paws\tomcat\conf\catalina\localhost\paws.xml file.
   - In the C:\Program Files (x86)\PST\Portrait Shared Server\Portrait Shared Services\web.config file.
   - In the C:\Program Files (x86)\PST\PAWS\ext\paws\tomcat\conf\tomcat-users.xml file
(the entry in this file must match the entry in the web.config file above).
