Create JDBC driver entry to connect AS400 database in Spectrum

Product Feature: JDBC Drivers
Follow these steps to use an AS400 database with Spectrum:
  1. Open the Management Console and go to "Resources > JDBC Drivers",
  2. Click on Add.
  3. Give the JDBC driver configuration a name.
  4. Enter JDBC driver class name as "com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver"
  5. Enter Connection string template as "jdbc:as400://${host}:${port}/${database}"
  6. Add the AS400 driver file by browsing to where the jt400.jar is located on the server.
  7. Add connections properties. Add "user" and "password".
  8. Click OK.
  9. Restart the spectrum services after creating/editing the JDBC driver to take into effect.
  10. Go to resources and select data sources.
  11. Provide a connection name.
  12. Select the JDBC Driver, created/edited as the database driver.
  13. Fill out the values for user, password, host, port, and database (Port 8471 is for DB connection AS400).
  14. Click on Test to ensure the connection works.
