Daytime Population

The Estimates include a set of variables called "Daytime Population." Daytime Population has two components: At-Home Population and At-Work Population.
The At-Home Population is the current estimate of the number of persons aged 16+ that are not in the labor force and, therefore, presumed to be at home during the day.
The At-Work Population is based on the Business Summary data, which contains estimates of the number of persons who work in the given Block Group.
The SUM of the At-Home Population and the At-Work Population gives an estimate of the number of persons in the Block Group during day.
