How to fix error 140 when starting the Sagent service

There are three possible solutions to 140 error:
  • clear system and application event logs.
  • check the key is not expired in the application log and if so run the installer to update the key.
  • check you are using the correct installer (32bit or 64bit) for your installation when updating the key.
