"There were errors during startup, possibly related to downloading necessary client files" error during login attempt to Spectrum Enterprise Designer and Management Console

This error can be returned if Windows user trying to run client tools does not have sufficient admin privileges.

Possible solution is to delete the "g1assemblies" folder which can be found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\. Another way to get to the temp folder is to click on Windows Start > Run > type in %temp% > press Enter.
