Products Affected: Finalist
The County Code is returned as part of the FIPS code in Finalist. The FIPS code is the Federal Information Processing Standards code and it consists of a 2-digit State Code, followed by a 3-digit County Code. The FIPS code is activated/returned in the following fields:
On the z/OS platform:
Native Batch: specify oFips = xxx (location to be posted) in the PBFNDEF file (or instream )
LPCF: listed as "county" right below the validated address
On the Windows platform:
Workbench - Choose the output field definition of oFips & specify a position in the .def file for your job
Lookup: Once an address has been validated, choose "parsed info" and then "more"
On the Unix platform:
Workbench - Choose the output field definition of oFips & specify a position in the .def file for your job
(Lookup is not available on the Unix platform)
