Error 1720 during install of EngageOne Designer

While trying to install Doc1 Designer the user gets the following error dialog:
Designer Installer Error Dialog, Error 1720
"Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run..."


This is generaly caused by a failure in a previous upgrade or installation, and some residual files and\or registry files remain causing the installation to fail when re-tried.

The default add\remove program functionality within Windows may not successfully remove all residual files and registry entries, so it is recommended to deploy a utility that manages the process.

The recommendation is to use the REVO Uninstaller to remove the product cleanly before attempting to re-install. This can be downloaded from the following location:
