Resolve error "ASDE license path not valid" in AnySite Desktop

Product Feature: License Activation Issues



After new installation or upgrade of AnySite Desktop, an error is thrown:
"ASDE license path not valid"


The issue most commonly occurs when the license installer has not been run or the license has not been specified in the configurator.


UPDATED: August 25, 2017

Steps to resolve:

1. Insert the License installer disk and run the installer ensuring the correct ASDE folder is selected.
2. In the configurator under Tools - ASDE Settings click on the Browse button for the license file, and select the Anysite .lic file.
3. Re-launch AnySite.
