Encom Discover application file has stopped working and displays a CLR20r3 commandsearch.exe error

When launching Discover 2013 the follow error appears.

Error refers to CLR20r3 and commandsearch.exe

Error only appears on launch, Close out or (X) out of error and will Discover will continue to run, however error always appears on launch.


CommandSearch.exe is corrupt. This issue likely stems from a .NET Framework-related problem.


UPDATED: July 12, 2019

Here is a temporary resolution:

In MapInfo/Discover, click on Discover > Configuration
and then Uncheck > CommandSearch and click OK

Relaunch MapInfo/Discover and the errors should be gone.

Temporary Workaround - Issue stems from a .NET Framework problem.
