Issue
Can't view a document in iProof. I can log in, see the list of runs, but when I click on one to view it I get error message "this website is experiencing technical difficulties."
Cause
Can't view a document in iProof. I can log in, see the list of runs, but when I click on one to view it I get error message "this website is experiencing technical difficulties."
Vault error log has the following message:
12:17:33 ERROR 17819: unable to open index [index\iguid.dri] error [2]
However the profiles.ini / database.ini is configured to use the “portafolio” database. The index is actually located in index\portafolio\iguid.dri.
Somehow iProof thinks that the index is located elsewhere.
Viewing the files with the Vault client (via the name index) it works. Why does iProof think that the index is in the wrong location?

Resolution
UPDATED: October 18, 2017There is a setting in iProof to define the database so they need to make sure they have that configured. Login as the Admin and in the “Modify iProof Settings” page they will see a “Database (optional)” setting. The reason this is called optional is that if it’s left blank it will use “default”. In their setup they are using a DB besides default so it’s not optional and they will need to put “portafolios” in this setting.
