Resolve PDF rendering quality problem in EngageOne Vault

Product Feature: Render

AFP ingested into Vault was using a HIP file for it's resources, and when the output device resolution was changed from 300 to 600dpi resolution, the PDF returned from Vault was poor quality for previously ingested files.

When changing the output device from 300 to 600 dpi, it uses different resource map entries.

This means that when you are rendering AFP to PDF, the AFP font references will not match what is specified in fonts.ini, so Vault will create an "image" of the original AFP in PDF format.

UPDATED: November 8, 2017
You can work around this by creating a user defined resource map where the AFP600 font references matched the AFP300 font references, or extend font.ini to display the correct fonts when the document is rendered.
