Resolution

UPDATED: July 26, 2019
To resolve this error, check for any open table(s) with the same name in the current workspace by:
  1. If using MapInfo Pro 32-bit version, select Table > Table List.
  2. If using MapInfo pro 64-bit version, check the 'Tables' list under the Explorer window.
  3. Search for any table(s) with a suffix "_2", "_3" etc.
  4. Close the table(s) with numbered suffixes in Step 3 by right-clicking and selecting Close.
  5. Package the workspace again using the Workspace Packager tool.
Note: Whenever a table with the same name as a table that is already opened in MapInfo Pro is opened, a suffix of "_2", "_3", and so on will be added. If the workspace requires the files with the same name to be present, resolve by renaming the "duplicates" using Table > Maintenance > Rename Table (32-bit version) or TABLE tab > Table > Rename Table (64-bit version).
