'Can't quit at this time' message in Sagent


'Can't quit at this time' message is observed while launching Sagent client components. For example Sagent Design Studio.


This could be caused if User Account Control (UAC) on the Windows Server was enabled during Sagent client-side component installation.


UPDATED: September 17, 2019

Follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the Sagent client...
  2. Disable User Account Control (UAC) and reboot the Server.
  3. Install Sagent Client.
If there is a need to enable the UAC again, it can be enabled after:
  • Login into the Design Studio once.
  • Registering the Sagent Data Flow Service in the Sagent Admin (SAAD).
