Resolve issue where EngageOne/DOC1 Designer fails to start and there is no error prompted

Designer cannot be started and there is no error prompted.

Checking the Event Log under cockpit and Application.
Found the following .NET error under Application:

Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

at G1.Wolf.GUI.CockpitStub.main.Main(System.String[])


There could be a number of causes for this issue.


UPDATED: November 13, 2017
Suggested steps:
1. Reboot the machine where DOC1 is installed
2. If (1) doesn't work, re-install .NET Framework  of which its corresponding version should mentioned in the Event Log entry.
