'Exception in DataObject Snapshot' message in EngageOne Designer

Issue

Error 'Exception in DataObject Snapshot' encounters on exporting a publication/strand snapshot in EngageOne Designer.

Cause

This may be caused due to either or combination of below:
  • The User under which the SQL service is running, does not have read/write access to the filestore shared folder.
  • Designer Repository Configuration Tool installed on a different machine to the one running SQL Server.

Resolution

UPDATED: August 1, 2019
  • Ensure that the user under which the SQL service is running has full read/write access to the filestore shared folder:
  • It is recommended to install the Designer RCT tool on the same server where SQL Server is running.
