Product Feature: Administration
Issue
The customer is using Time New Roman in an RTF field. When they create the printstream (in this case PDF) the font doesn't show italic or bold.
In fact, the Acrobat Viewer doesn't even show Times New Roman font resources embedded in the PDF.
In fact, the Acrobat Viewer doesn't even show Times New Roman font resources embedded in the PDF.
Cause
The font resources are not automatically included in the output printstream when using a specific font from an RTF field.
The font resources are included in the HIP (production ready file) to be included in the output printstream during the Doc1 production run.
There is no way to know ahead of time what all the possible fonts resources would be needed from the RTF information in the input data file.

Resolution
UPDATED: November 3, 2017If the customer knew ahead of time what fonts resources they would need, they could include those particular font styles (possibly white font text in publication) to include the font resource while publishing.
